About this tool
A literal translation of a business message is often technically correct and socially wrong. Levels of formality, how directly you can ask for money, whether you use someone's first name: these differ by language and getting them wrong costs you the customer even when every word is accurate.
This tool translates for the context you choose. A product listing, a formal letter and a WhatsApp message to a regular customer need three different registers, and it adjusts accordingly.
It also tells you what it could not carry across. Idioms, jokes and culture-specific references frequently have no equivalent, and knowing which line is weak is more useful than a translation that looks confident everywhere.

Why give a back-translation?
So you can check the meaning survived even if you cannot read the target language. It is the only way to catch a confident-looking mistranslation.
Which languages does it handle?
Type any two. It is strongest on widely used languages and weaker on less common ones, where a native speaker should check anything important.
Can I use it for legal or medical documents?
No. Use a certified human translator for anything with legal or medical consequences. The notes section will flag ambiguity, but it is not a substitute for certification.
