About this tool
The reason most cover letters get skimmed and binned is that they could have been sent to anybody. They open by naming the role, state that the candidate is a hard-working team player, and end by looking forward to hearing back. Nothing in them could only be true of one person.
This tool writes the opposite kind of letter. It takes the advert, picks the two or three things the employer clearly cares most about, and connects each one to something concrete from your own history. The result is short, because a good cover letter is short, and it sounds like a person rather than a template.
Give it the job title and company, a few lines about your relevant experience, and the advert text if you have it. If you know why you actually want this job at this employer, put that in the last field, because that is the sentence a reader remembers.
Questions
How long will the letter be?
Three or four short paragraphs, which is what hiring managers actually read. On the free plan it is shorter still.
Can I use the same letter for several jobs?
You can, but you will get far better results running it again per application with that advert pasted in. That is the whole advantage of a one dollar tool over paying a writer.
Will it sound like AI wrote it?
It is instructed to avoid the giveaways: no excited-to-apply opener, no corporate filler, no inflated vocabulary. Read it once and change any phrase that does not sound like you.
I have no direct experience. Is it still useful?
Yes. Put what you do have in the background field, including study, volunteering or unrelated work, and the letter will connect that to what the employer needs.
